Aspect of your room – Does your room attract the harsh westerly afternoon sun? Or does it have a gentler northern aspect? If your space receives significant sun exposure, a roller blind made from polyester and PVC mesh may be just what you’re after. This sunscreen fabric has a UV 50 sun protection factor, but due to its translucence, still allows the light in and won’t interrupt your view. These kinds of blinds are perfect in beach or bayside apartments, or commercial offices. Alternately, if regulating room temperature is your priority, you may prefer a roller blind in a block out fabric to help keep your home cosy in winter and cool in summer.
